Track and Field Blogs - Ryan From Flotrack

I was in Denver last week, which was my first time in Colorado and it was a blast. The views of the mountains are beautiful. I was able to travel to the Air Force Academy, Denver, Boulder, and ski at Breckenridge. Due to limited jogging I wasn't able to take advantage of some of the cool runs in the area (especially in Boulder), but just gives me motivation to check the area out again sometime. I meet some cool people and got to catch up with some athletes. Look out for some new interviews on Flotrack soon.

On my way home I had some crazy flight arrangements. I was supposed to go from Denver to Phoenix to Boston. However, my flight from Phoenix to Boston was overbooked so they were asking for volunteers to give up there seat. I gave my seat up and was rewarded with a free round trip flight anywhere in the US, but I sat in the aiport for 5 hours then flew to vegas where I had another 5 hour layover. I got on the redeye to Boston at midnight (vegas time), got back at 7:40am (boston time) and wait straight into work. Long day to say the least, but free flights are money!

Any thoughts on were I should go?? Phoenix looked pretty sweet. I've always wanted to check out flagstaff and maybe hit up the Grand Canyon so who knows.

But if you've had thoughts about Denver and skiing in CO, I recommend you go!
