I've been watching the Tour De France every day on Versus as have many of my current and ex-teammates. The Tour has been an interest of mine for a few years now, ever since Miguel Indurain impressed me with his ability to push a 60 tooth chainring when most guys were using 52-56 teeth on the front. Although they're both long distance races, riding the Tour, and running a marathon are quite different. The adavantages from drafting in bicycling are amazing. We have debates about many things on runs. Topics range from greatest lead singer of Van Halen(David Lee Roth, of course), to the greatest place to train for a marathon(Rochester Hills, MI, of course). One of the most common subjects (between Kyle, Morgan, and I, at least) is the greatest WWF (sorry World Wildlife Fund, I won't punch a koala in the face today) wrestler of all time. On the way down the hill to meet the team the other morning, Clint came up with a great point that I decided to write about this time around. His opinion was that runners are like cats or dogs.
