I was going to do the relay for life last night as far as the walk goes and I had a goal to walk 40 miles. However, due to the location change of the site as well as a continuous rain there was no where to walk and I decided that the sleep I missed and the risk for sickness was too much.  However, while I was there I saw that much had been done for those who have and currently have been afflicted with cancer.  For those fighting the cancer there was special parking and even though I had to park further back for once Iwas glad that I was able to walk as comfortably as I did and can.  I looked around and although the event was almost rained out I knew that the event would endure just as those who choose to fight cancer would and did.   I decided to go home and as a result I went home, ate some bannana pudding and a sandwich and went to bed. A pretty good night and a thankful one as well.
