I ran a great race time today, a really good time, yet, I took a wrong turn and turned a 10k into like a 6.5 mile race. I guess I was sad that I would miss my long run and as a result , I ended up making a wrong turn. I made up the part about me being sad about missing my daily run but not the part where I ran extra. Talk about a bummer. This is the 2nd time that I have done this. The first time turned a 10 mile race into like a 11 mile race. Maybe I will learn to follow directions one day. The Citadel will surely help me with that. A good race though , overall. A great day to race and lots of peaches to go around, if you know what I mean.
