I didn't expect to write again so soon, but...

I woke up extremely sore the day after my 14:10 4K. I didn't think anything of it, it was just a little soreness because I wasn't used to the pace. So I went to school, and once I get to gym class, we're running a 400. I was challenged by a teammate and some douchebag kid that used to run track and quit to play volleyball. My start was a complete failure being elbowed in the face. My teammate and d-bag started early also, and were far ahead already.. I ran the first 100 easy, pushing a little more the second 100. At that point, I was in 3rd, with teammate in first, d-bag in second. I was pretty sore, so normally I would've given up. However, I see douchebag starting to die from going out too fast, so I just have to push. I pass him down the straightaway. I ran a 61. Douchebag tells everybody that he beat the track kid even though he clearly lost. But that's something I should've seen coming from a mile... err... 400 away.

And then after that, my legs are basically destroyed. I have trouble walking up and down stairs. On our warmup, I had to drop out and stretch, and I attempted doing the workout, made it for about .25 miles, and then turned around.

Day 2 - I'm slightly less sore (Though that's still very sore), complete the warmup, run 5 miles EXTREEEMELY SLOW, and then I drop out after the 1st 400 we were supposed to do as a cooldown.

Tomorrow I'll be helping out at a charity 5K, and hopefully my legs will hurt less.
