I haven't been blogging since I haven't run any races, so i figured that I'd write about how my winter training has been going.

After taking a little less than two weeks off, I (painfully) started running again, and slowly started to get back into shape. I started off with light distance (3-4) miles, and then onto easy track workouts (8x200m, Mile Down), and some harder (5 1200s)

Though running hurts a lot more than it did during cross country, I feel that I'm getting better. I'm getting better times during the workouts, and I think i'm almost ready to go sub-5.

My first meet will be the Nassau Coaches Meet on December 5th, where I'll be running a soph 4x800 and hoping to win. I'm hoping I can run around the 2:09 range, but I have no idea how the indoor track will change my time.
