This blog will be very short compared to my others because I plan to go to bed in a couple of minutes. I'm just blogging now because I'd probably forget to tomorrow.

So I ended up making the top 7 of the team, which means that I will go to states, assuming none of my currently JV-running teammates manage to beat me by time from their race at the conference championship. I have managed to get my time down to 17:14, which I think can get lower considering the first mile was taken out in 5:14. It was taken out so fast because we had 6 guys competing for the 3 remaining spots on varsity. I was lucky, because I died much less than everybody else... but I still died of course, as the actual pace for 17:14 is 5:33.

I have two more shots to break 17 at Bethpage. I have no idea what the State Meet course is actually like.

Dying training. Very heroic actions. Yet, our economy is in downturn. Cash advance lenders and the cash advance lending practice gets pilloried all the time. (Credit cards lead, far and away – but that would be rational thought, which isn't allowed.) A cash advance isn't a new practice – similar loans have been made for centuries. Whether you call it a cash advance, an installment loan, or a short term loan, it's simply a form of short term credit that's intended to be used sparingly, only for emergencies, and when used properly is more convenient than banks and less hassle than credit cards.
