On Friday I took the girlfriend to Not So Silent Night in San Francisco (A yearly concert put on by the radio station 'Live 105'). My favorite performers were Spoon and Modest Mouse but the highlight of the night was seeing Audrey's face light up during when she saw Jimmy Eat world take the stage for the first time. The other performers: Paramore and Angels and Airwaves were entertaining but I can't believe that Paramore was nominated for a Grammy. My ears are still ringing. Soon I am either going to have to either stop going to these things or wear a hearing aid within a decade.

It was nice to go for a weekend trip with out my Running shoes in tow. I am in the process of building back up to some healthy miles before I resume racing in February down in San Diego. Its nice having a period with out any workouts and only having one run a day but I’m sure I’ll get antsy to start going fast again before too long. Before that happens though; I’m looking forward to a nice Holiday vacation to Colorado for Christmas and then to Rancho Cucamonga and Big Bear for New Years and Audrey’s birthday.

Also this weekend a few Chico Alums ended some very long Cross-Country/Road racing seasons by venturing to Ohio for the Club Cross Champs. In very un-California like weather they battled it out and Pat helped his team (Adidas Transports) to a 4th place while Charlie dropped out and G$ was 16th in the 40-44 Division.

Finally, great job to James Attarian for qualifying to Footlocker Finals out of the East Bay. You did something I never came close to in High School.
