Sorry for the short video but today was a long day. Andrew Carlson and I headed to the airport together at 7 in the morning after getting back from Heusden late on Saturday. I had a lot of fun the last 25 days and I could not of kept up the blog without all your support. It was hard work but well worth it. Mystery

Leuven race mgmt has just informed us that there looks to be a mystery guest added to the mens 800 field.

While race mgmt is in Monaco for the Herculis GP they spoke with the mystery guests sports agent to secure the deal. Negotiations on travel and appearance fee (rumored to be Belgian beer) are being finalized as of press time.

The mystery runner, who wishes to remain anonymous until race time, fits all the events qualifying criteria.

1. Entrant must be a "has been" or "wanna-be".

If you have not been there, you should go before you die. And you'll probably need to do it within the next few years while you still have your health. It's a 10 mile hike in and 10 miles out. You can have some mules carry your gear for a price. No trash bins. No open flames. Carry out what you carry in. According to one of my teammates, "Being last years NCAA champion is no longer a fluke." On June 24th, I claimed the title of USA National Champion as well. It really was surreal. So now I get to represent the USA at the Pan Am Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and at the World Championships in Osaka, Japan. more »
