If you are in an area with AT&T U-Verse, they have great coverage of the Olympics and the Olympic trials. The woman's 10k was not shown in it's entirety but cut back and forth for other track events but what we saw was great! Great race and a great team.

We don't get the USA network up here, does anyone know if there is a site that is webcasting the trials?

As I browse through the interviews our dear friends at Flotrack provide, I notice that these athletes are simply incredible human beings. Contrast that with the trash talking we see in the ESPN-approved sports.

Furthermore, the coverage our sport does receive is usually negative (doping). This is probably because our sport is so fastidious about testing so cheaters get caught. I don't that that's the case with other sports...

I'm all with you guys, This is a GREAT Sport, the Greatest sport to be exact and the American media does not give the sport the respect it undoubtedly deserves.
Where's The Love June 29, 2008 at 9:15pm
All I have to say is that if Golf has its own channel, why doesn't running??!! USA?? USA?? Does anyone even watch that station? One of the larger sporting events in the country is the Boston Marathon and they only show a 5 second clip of the winner on sportscenter once a year. Where's the love?? There has to be a way to give the Olympic trials a little more exposure.
There is an art show featuring running art. If Flotrack gets a chance, can they get some pics and/or video of it. I hear it is supposed to have some very good work.

I guess there is only one network with rights to show the trials and you won't find anyother source online since NO ONE is allowed to record the event except for that network.

So..let me get this straight..there is no online video of any of the action? If so, where do I find it? USA Network doesn't even post after-the-fact video.
As much as I appreciate the guys rehashing the emotion of the women's 10,000 final, I'd rather see the final 800 meters (or more) myself. (I was on a plane during the the USA show)
And people wonder why there is not enough public interest in the sport...
