German had been battling achilies problems for some time and it just was too much during the race.

where can I find a video of the race? its not on the NCAA site anymore and last year, flotrack did an amazing job with coverage....so im just wondering if ur gonna put it up?
Oregon men's team was a little more predictable but still exciting. Rupp - Chelanga match up was exciting right to the end. Tried to figure out what in the heck Chelanga was up to. He did all of the things that I've tried to teach my young runners not to do through the years. too fast a start, drastically varied pace. Rupp demonstrated to everyone the right way to win a race. It was the old fable of the tortoise and the hare, except Galen was a really fast turtle!!! Very impressive.
Very proud of the PAC-10 today. Washington girls 1st 79 points, led by Christine, Kendra, Mel, Katie, Amanda, Lauren, and Anita. Oregon 2nd 131 points, led by Alex, Nicole, Mattie, Lindsey, Zoe N., Zoe B., and Bria.
