My apologies for the missing open men's 5k video. Somehow it got lost in the shuffle.
On Saturday we had a lighter crew, and we sacrificed the 200s and 4x4s to get interviews with Coe, Torrence, and Schmitz.

does anyone know where to access the "PhotoRun" photos? they're great! is there a link to the website and a way to view more of the photos from the race?

Looks like David Torrence beat Darren Brown by over 7 seconds in the mile. I guess David Torrence just might actually be one of the best unsponsored athletes in the mile.

i just watched the SElby preview, and no where in the meet preview does it say that it will be live. maybe you misheard it, or did you read it somewhere else. let us know, as that seems to be the basis for your entire thread.

Look...I'm not trying to be critical. As a fan, I'm grateful that we have Flotrack as a resource. And I fully understand that not every event can be covered live. I fully understand that in certain circumstances "live coverage" cannot be offered.
However, when you continually promote to your audience that you will be covering the event LIVE - I tend to believe that means that AS THE RACE OCCURS there will be coverage. Live coverage generally means that an event will be covered as the event is occurring. I have never understood live coverage to mean videos offered a few days later.
The next time Flotrack decides to cover an event "live" they need to make it clear that that does not mean that event will be shown as it is happening. It's just that simple.
Universal Sports will be covering LONDON MARATHON live tomorrow morning - as it happens - and I fully expect that that means there will be cameras (maybe even three cameras) offering coverage of the race as it is being run.
Again, I'm not trying to be unreasonable or critical...

Thanks for all the great work. I have really enjoyed watching all the inspiring interviews and meets. Your coverage is great. Many thanks.

wow said: oh my god are you serious? chill out, videos after the meet is fine. every meet can't have live coverage and especially at this stadium that is ancient to begin with. get real
Look...I'm not being critical. I'm simply saying that in their pre-race coverage video, it was stated they would be covering the event live. Now...when I hear the event is being covered LIVE, I am led to believe that means there will be coverage AS THE EVENT IS OCCURRING. Am I being unreasonable here?
I fully understand that live coverage cannot be achieved in all circumstances. I know it's not an easy task to cover these events. I'm very grateful as a fan that we have Flotrack as a resource. HOWEVER - if, in the future, they plan on advertising an event being covered live, I think they need to make it clear that that does NOT mean the event will be covered as it is occurring (which to me means "live" - but I'm obviously off base here).
Universal Sports has advertised they will be covering LONDON MARATHON LIVE. Guess what? That means that AS THE RACE OCCURS they will have cameras (maybe even 3 cameras) covering the event. If I get up at 2AM to watch the LONDON MARATHON - I would be very disappointed if they only meant that they would have videos covering the event sometime tomorrow.
For future reference...LIVE = AS THE EVENT HAPPENS
