What an idiot. Are you saying that Jordan Hasay, Sarah Bowman, Leo Manzano, Marshavet Hooker, Zack Ornelas, Chelsey Sveinsson, Nichole Jones, Robbie Andrews are all burnouts? I could go on and list many more, but why waste energy on a douchebag?

I think Beach's multi this week was very impressive. Sure, no record, but he clocked a 4:07 world JR Decathlon record in the final event (1500m)...This kid is on his way to being the 'standard' for decathletes in our future. He's a new breed of natural athlete. 2016 Olympic Champion...that's my prediction.

No one cares about usatf or aau jr olympics, 98 percent of the kids burn out after the youth division, and no one good does it after that.... suck it
Got two girls from our small-town HS competing in the Hammer. Casey Kraychir, a junior, and younger sister Katie, a year behind her. Casey just threw 190'03" in Mesa, AZ. She holds the grade level national records all the way up. FR 173'04", SO 180'04", JR 190'03". The HS overall record belongs to Maureen Griffin, then a SR at Pocatello, ID (201'07"). Younger sister Katie is throwing 176'08" right now (Katie is also very impressive with the heavier weights indoors).
I just pointed out to Casey yesterday that if she were throwing at the NCAA's instead of the Mesa meet, she would have finished in 10th place. Not bad for a HS junior! Older brothers, also among top throwers in high school, are now at Boise State and USMA, West Point.
Now if we can get Coaches Lananna or Steele and Casey's dad Hank to meet up at Eugene.......
Follow up: Casey Kraychir wins the event on Friday afternoon with her last throw, 187'09". USATF JUNIOR CHAMPION in the Hammer!
Quotes:
Casey Kraychir, Winner Jr. Women’s Hammer Throw
On competing:
“I was really nervous. This was my first time throwing at Hayward and it was really exciting.”
