Bryon
You even caught Alan's breaking point at the last turnaround...you could see that he just did not re-accelerate and dropped right off the pack.
Alan is a talent but I think he'll always be a bit of a crap shoot in each race. I wish for him things weren't always such a big struggle but they likely always will be after the precedent of punting on college when it wasn't a cake walk. A shame in a way but it will certainly keep things interesting in a blood sport sort of way...not a coincidence given that going for the $$ early is what put him in this situation.
im not going to make excuses for him though. im a little disappointed in his last 2 performances. but im not going to sit here and call him a bad runner and bash him because of it. i mean hes had the performances to prove that he deserves to be where hes at.
and hes not doing bad just because he left college early.
i just hope the man can get things together for the trials and hopefully beijing!

Bromley is fat
So...
If he messes up all these races before the 1500m finals at the Olympics... HE'LL RUN INCREDIBLY THERE
haha. not saying that'll happen, but it's funny to think that.
Alan, good luck, but I think your lack of mental strength, focus and fortitude will keep you from being taken seriously by international milers. They're all thinking "which Alan is going to show up today? The quitter or the racer?"
