Willard better not take that last 150 so easily in Beijing, though. She could have easily had that race, but I think she thought too much of her lead coming off the barrier. Great race, though. |

Something to watch with Willard - her ability to hurdle well with either lead leg. And her acceleration into the water jump and sustaining that out of the water. This is what makes her so successful as a steepler....oh and the ability to run FAST. |

love to see two americans duke it out like that. tho since willards the better water pit jumper, i have to say she's the better steepler right now. barringer has more potential to lower the ar in the future. willard will break it at the olympics. |
