He is well spoken and quirky at the same time. But I must admit that,in a way he scares the bedooobiles out of me! Like your afraid your going to ask a dumb question or something. But he tolerated the interview in a pretty good humor. |

Well, there is a Wetmore factor beacause as i see it, there is no coach/person like him. Spoken from a former high school athlete of his, I can truly say that he and his methods, his personna and every aspect that makes him Mark, I have met only one person other than Mark who cares, dedicates himself and is passionate about something like Mark is. You will learn ALOT more about than training and running from him; you will learn about yourself (alot)and the world around you. And you know what? You'll learn some of the best training, too. Some of my teammates and I still say (after20-25 years later) some of the best lesseons we learned was under Mark. |

If my son or daughter were long distance runners, rather than soccer players, and they were good enough, Wetmore is the man to whom I'd send them. |
