ya well she is very talented. she has the 3k and 2k HSR and she would only run the race twice a year and usa then at nats and she never even trained for it. so considering how much she has improved since she has been in college i think that she will be fine. I hate when people have to down others. KEEP IT POSITIVE!!!!

Well she could very well have a problem getting over it, or atleast w/a good time. This is college not high school and the steeple is a totally different animal now than it was 3 years ago. She's going to have to step it up quite a bit.

I believe high school steeple is 2k

yes 3 years ago

she has the 3k high school steeple record and its 10:15. She ran it as a Junior.

I love Marie Lawrence!

good steepler 3 years ago

Doesn't mel have the hsr for the 2k steeple? Or she had it at some point.

HSR 3 years ago

umm... i think mel's proven in the past that she can get over steeples... minus that one epic picture of her taking a spill into the water pit but regardless she will have no problem getting back at it.

Thanks to Jenny B now everyone wants to jump on the Steeple bandwagon.

How tall is mel? It's hard for short woman and steeples.
