I am from the NY area and it has been a blessing to have a program like this to become strong. I've heard that it is hard to get a team going strong, but at the same time it might be hard staying there. The girls they have now are great but a 10:20 3200 girl will add to the team right away. i think they lose their top 2 from nats this year but Jr lauren penney ran as the number 1 at most meets i believe so next years team should be just as good or better |

Very attractive school. Grew up an hour away in Watertown. My mom, 84 now, lives right off campus and still goes to the b-ball games once in a while. Great history of running high schools in the area. Fayetteville-Manlius, North Syracuse, Rome Free Academy, South Jefferson, McQuaid Jesuit, Saratoga, etc. through the years. Great Orange lacrosse team, basketball team too. My daughter almost went but decided on Wells College (all girls then, now co-ed) down by Cornell. |
