Reminded me of Kara Goucher at Boston Marathong how Deena Kastor ran with the Ethiopian and the Kenyan until the end and then they outsprint her in the end.

I also agree, having a well versed announcer.

Deena Kastor ran tough. She kept surging and coming back up to the front. I like how the announcer knew so much about each runner and was keeping track of each time Kastor fell back and then caught up again.
Nice work, announcer and D. Kastor!!!

Kevin, I agree - great announcing! You should have made the drive south and announced at Adidas. They had two guys - one wana-be DJ plugging the commercial for VISA every few minutes and the other pointing things out after they took place (missing all the action).

You would have been a BIG improvement!

Kevin could you apply for a job announcing track meets/road races for ESPN or NBC. It's quite refreshing to have an announcer who actually knows the names of the competitors and doesn't make mindless commentary to entertain the casual track/running fans.
