Sally Kipyego came close, she won three consecutive years, 20:11, 19:30, 19:28. Thats pretty close and the 20:11 from 2006 was cause the course was running really slowly from major rains that week. Both had great careers. |

She became the only woman to run sub-20 three times at nationals. Nobody else has come close. |

Don't call someone a class act. That's rude |

Also my 4 year old is a fan of Susan's. She has to watch the video from Europe 2009 when she talks about "shnackin" all the time. She calls her snackin girl. My four year old loves her, she even recognized her in the 1500 heats at worlds. You have another young fan. Good Luck in your running career |

I've never seen an interview with her, but i love her! She seems like she has such a love for the sport, and loves life in general. I like people that just make you feel happy, and she is just one of those people. Good luck Susan with your running carrer! |

My four year old daughter watched the race with me on tv today and she just came up to me watching this video and said, "Is that Susan Kuuijken? We watched her today and she 's pretty and a good runner too." You have a huge fan after your race today. She loves you. |

Aw, well first I was just devastated about Jenny but seeing Susan be such a good sport with her huge disappointment I am really impressed with her. At least she got 3rd and her team did well. Congrats, and you are a great runner and competitor and class act. |

What a great attitude for someone who just experienced what she did. Susan's personality will definitely be missed. |
