I think Pete Farrell was a Lifeguard in Long Beach(my home town). |

Peter Farrell is not only a great coach but a spiritual teacher, the yoga master of track. "Be here Now..." Being loose, maximizing effort without tension. This is meditation. I would like to hear his teachings on pranayama. |

This interview is no surprise--Farrell is one of the best female coaches in the country. Truly concerned for his athlete's well-being in every single way. Phenomenal. |

I've had a fair amount of personal experience with Coach Farrell, and I have to say I don't think you could find a better coach of women's distance running. The guy built the program at Princeton, and he knows exactly how to interact with his runners. Great coach! |

He occasionally reminds me of Christopher Walken with his voice and mannerisms... which is isn't bad. Great content and interview. |

Note to self: tell my coach about this interview. Coach Farrell really knows what he is talking about. My coach has been in this sport since he was a kid but man, I'd have Coach Farrell any day. |

Great interview. Coach Farrell is one of the most pleasant people to talk to about the sport...genuinely cares about his athletes and is more than willing to offer advice to any runner from anywhere. And he can always make people laugh! Best of luck to him & the team this season. |

I haven't seen much from this coach, but I really like what I see here. He's got a good head on his shoulders which shows you why those princeton girls have run so well over the last few years |
