Nice coverage, Flo!

As far as the shoes in the basement - Any way New Balance can forward those to Haiti?

Ridiculous woulda been if you watched everything while thinking 'this is ridiculous.' :) They covered a press conference, had a brief insider's look in the factory and had a flotrack user interview. I get that that's too much for some, not enough for others, but you'll have to work pretty hard to find it ridiculous.

OK, maybe the thundersticks...

Jenny b is a true friend to flotrack, like the time she warned flotrack they were about to get curbed from the media area in Berlin when they didn't have their passes,

I also think that JB is a great role model. I also believe that she is capable of medaling. I also think that her signing is newsworthy. But Flotrack and Ryan in particular have carried it to the point of ridiculous.

Time Will Tell 2 years ago

Jenny Barringer is going to medal some day and Flo will be there..

It takes a special kind of runner to rise to her level.
~Time Will Tell~ and so will Flotrack

Kudos 2 years ago

Yes, kudos to both you Ryan for allowing all of us to be part of these new events in Jenny's life and kudos to you Jenny for being that role model on and off the track. Being a mother of both sons and daughters, I appreciate when we get solid female role models for our daughters, because it gets counterproductive for our daughters to stand in the shadow of our sons athletic accomplishments.
Flo is doing an excellent job in striking a balance for equalizing the coverage both male and female role models.Thank you.

Form partnerships? Maybe a little harder than it sounds...Hey, lets just form a bunch of partnerships so we can film everything!!! I'm sure they've got more important things to do than hire someone to cover events in the UAE...

Have to agree 2 years ago

I do have to agree with RU kidding. This is getting to be a bit overkill. There are a lot of athletes that deserve coverage. Can we please move on!

so is she moving to Boston> HELLS YA!

I would watch an interview with Haile over Jenny B ANY day.

And that's the thing; Jenny is a fantastic role model and she takes this very seriously. She will never be anything but a positive and energetic role model!

Mrs. Doubtfire 2 years ago

I personally am MUCH more interested in Jenny Barringer than Haile. Jenny has a lot of fans. So thanks to Flotrack for covering it. But hey RU KIDDING, why don't you start an RU Kidding Running WEb site and cover who ever you please!

Hey Yeah 2 years ago

That's why you form partnerships ... so you can cover a wider range of events

Anonymous fool 2 years ago

At least Haile has a world record

Yeah... 2 years ago

Hey RU KIDDING,

Haile ran a marathon in the UAE, which is a 14-16 hour flight from the Armory. Flotrack didn't have the press credentials, or the logistics, or (likely) the money to fly halfway around the world to cover a marathon that had ZERO top flight Americans in it (which is something that Flotrack has ALWAYS focused on). So lets see, drop huge amounts of money to try and cover a marathon where they have no ins no contacts, and no real viable way of getting decent coverage? Or cover Jenny Barringer. What will people care more about?
You expect Flotrack to cover every announced WR attempt? Your lack of business (and common) sense is sickening.

Yeah and Haile failed from the gun. Don't be jealous. It's nice to have something buzzing in the running world.

RU KIDDING 2 years ago

Hey Flotrack,

JB just ate dinner. Better send a reporter.
Your coverage of this is sickening. Wasn't this the same weekend as Haile made an attempt at the WR?
