The Real Maine: Kyle Merber back from Injury
Its been a year since the accident. On a summer training run and one step on a piece of glass ended Kyle Merber's promising Junior year and sidelined him for over 7 months. The year before as a sophomore Merber had made big breakthroughs running 3:58 indoors in the mile and running in the NCAA Outdoor 1500m final where he finished 10th. Kyle Merber wondered if and when he'd get back to a point where he could be competitive again....that time is now. Training in Maine this summer, Merber is on his way to finish up his fourth year at Ivy League school, Columbia, and prove to himself that he is one of the best in the NCAA. Follow Kyle this season and into track as he has high hopes for not only himself, but also his XC team!
