LOVED this interview. Verified what I felt about Jordan's book and Fire on the Track (Great!) and also the empty feeling I got from Without Limits. For those older runners who were fans of Pre before it became so cool to be fans of Pre, I think many of us felt WL was poorly crafted and deviated too much from Jordan's book. And I'm not putting down new or younger fans of Pre...running has lots of great athletes/personalities who deserve to be rock stars in their own right, and Pre has helped pave that way. Pat Tyson gives us such great insight and seems like a true gentleman. And great interview questions too. Can you imagine Matt Lauer trying to do this same interview. |

Good to see my old high school coach breaking down Pre and running. It is about time Flotrack posting a video of Pat Tyson. This is the guy you want to talk to about running or just life in general. One of the most positive individuals you will ever meet. |

I first met Pat Tyson @ the Golden West in Sacramento and was blown away that I was meeting " Pre's roomie" BUT what sticks out the most for me was how genuine and open he was/is to share these stories and carry the positive memory for the generations of kids who use Pre as motivation. an all-around great guy! Thanks Pat! |
