Remembered reading in Runner's World in the 70's that Oregon did the 30/40 drill. Non stop workout of the 1st 200 at 30sec and the 2nd 200 (recovery) at 40sec. It stated that Pre had the record of 18 laps. Anyone know if they still do that type of workout?

Join the Brie Felnagle in Seattle's Magnuson Park as she does an early season workout. The workout comes only a few weeks after a near PR (8:54.74) and a win in the 3k at the Washington Invite. This comes the week after her race at the USA Cross Country Championships. Brie has joined new coach Danny Mackey for this session.

Loop: 800m dirt loop in Magnuson Park, mostly flat
I liked the upside down view! rock on ryan. So long as its free, I don't mind. the interviews are always the real meat of these videos. Also the workout splits.
rythem 200's are a staple jan/feb workout in my group in the UK. usually a bit more volume tho, ie. 15 minutes tempo, 30 minutes of 200 on / 200 off. plus we do the 200's on the track. the 200 splits in the video were decent tho!
