I remember that exact same workout from 40 years ago,we did not have altitude in the midwest but we had humidity,it brought back fond memeries

What would Eyestone do if some random runner showed up and started running these with the team?

I want to see ULM on WW! Please go see small schools like ULM. Daniel Mutai NCAA finalist, Hillary Kirwa, Silah Chumba! Here in Louisiana all the high-school runners want to see them!
Thanks FLO!

I have to be honest about Flotrack Premium. Been cruisin' around the net looking for something focused on running for years. Started with Dyestat.com, been through runnerspace, etc. This is where I landed, and keep coming back to. The site is growing, the comments are, as a rule, from an informed group of people who have a genuine interest in the sport. But it cost's money to travel around to the big meets, spend the time it takes to keep this show on the road. Flotrack certainly has the blessings of most runners, athletes. They will go on camera at the drop of a hat, because they like the site. It's not going to break my bank to pay up. I want this site to survive and grow. Let's all think about chipping in. I'm going in tomorrow morning (it's a special day to me!).

I'd love to know the number of subscribers to Flotrack Premium. I can't imagine it's that many at all. All the effort making these "premium" videos that are only seen by a handful of people. Or maybe I'm way off and they have thousands of subscribers. Doubt it.

With profit chasing it may be time to lose the .org. I know I sound like an old degenerate but I miss how the site was when it first started. Too much going on and now the differentiating of WW. I visit the site less and less but I guess the original readers are no longer needed if your viewership has grown over the years. Just remember what happens when you forget where you came from.

if you're upset that flotrack is trying to make a profit, why don't you try working for free. you act like they owe it to you to give you what you want. i personally won't be paying for it and can't say that i'm excited for it, but if so i'm glad i've been able to enjoy it free for this long.

To all those you have something negative to say:
Whether it be about the flotrack premium or the BYU XC team, please stop wasting your time. Flotrack is a great provider of quality videos and insights to help all the runners throughout the world to learn more and keep us all in contact, but they are also human, and need to build a career from what they are investing their time in. I am a member of a Division 1 team and if there is another team on flotrack, I compliment them. We are runners. This is not football where we try to set up bloody rivalries. This is a fun sport with a lot of friendly competition, and if you continue to write slanderous words towards a team or individual, you are ruining the quality of the sport, so I kindly ask you to keep negative comments to yourself. Help build this sport rather than make a mockery of it as you are doing now.

Flotrack... I am inches away from never returning... Remember how Zuckerberg ruled the world until he started doing greedy things like this?

"Intense"? This slower than 10k pace for these guys, right?

I will never pay for anything on this site. If they ever charge for WOW or basic coverage I will never come back.

Don't train in spikes! Save your legs!!

I just can't believe USA doesn't dominate distance running like Kenya with the amount of people training like this!

BYUfan 8 months ago

hey I don't care how old you are. If you are as fast as this team that's incredible. besides, the majority of them take 2 years off of running. even if you are 2 years older, it takes a long time to get back to where you were before the 2 year break. then to make up the improvement you lost during those 2 years? wow. great work boys

Pierce Tallichet 8 months ago

I just happened to also run 1k repeats yesterday not at altitude. I feel like a wimp!

Anonymous Coward 8 months ago

They don't think they can win nationals, they WANT to win nationals and they're doing everything they can to get there. Its called the will to win.

We know......... 8 months ago

Yea, we know Miles was 6 years older than German when he beat his record!

Flotrack had such a great thing going, hate to see it start to lose it as more and more of these videos cost money. This site once did something really cool for fans of running for the sake of sharing the sport, but now it just seems interested in making more profit. I don't believe many people will pay for these "premium" videos because Flotrack has already set the standard of providing quality videos for free...
