Always fun to watch Maurica during a race, compared to husband Andy. Andy will be out there on the course, some place quiet, and just get a sense of how his runners are doing, give them a word of encouragement, let them know how the team is doing. On the other hand, Maurica is in the crowd, and has no trouble being heard by all of the passing runners! She's usually doubled over and screaming at the top of her lungs. The girls see her like that and they know it business as usual and they are doing just fine. |
