So XC runners should just be good, quiet little nerds...showing no emotion or excitement? Does that help bring any excitement to the sport somehow? Is it not ok to have a little bit of fun, like football, basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball or any other sport? Chill. Besides, it's all about showing love and pride of the school name on the front of the jersey. Keep it up!

They are definitely allowed to be excited but that pop top was just unnecessary. They got third and fourth in the race and their team didn't even do as well as they should have so they should save the top popping until they actually earn it. But hey, if the storied Ducks are satisfied with the way their program has been doing over the years then let them display their pride in the most arrogant way possible.

Let the runners do what they want. We all know how it feels when we all run excellent. If these studs want to pop their tops, then let it be. It didn't effect their performance in a positive or negative way, so why are we all picking out the little thing. I mean, I would've done the same thing, probably with a fist bump as I always do though. Popping their jerseys doesn't make someone arrogant, non-humble, or arrogant. Damn, let runners do what they want and act how they want. They are the ones who poured it all out on the course...not anyone of you.

Then to my chagrin, the top two Buffs did the same thing. Buffs are above that sort of junk.
