They lost last year simply because Girma wasn't in the race! Plain and simple! WISCO dominated easily because of their 1-5 spread, simple! German and Colby are in no way "Losers" They lost because of a situation completely out of their control! It would have been a "Three-peat" easily!

Wow I know this is on a lot bigger than us, but this is so relatable to what happened to my team at states this year, minus the three peat. we lost the Maryland 2A state meet in a similar fashion.

That's bull. To blame those that graduated that they didn't want it enough. Colby and German can't win the whole race for the team. This team is nothing and Dave Smith just says what people want to hear; he's not a coach.

Looking at those trophies behind him. 4 top 3 finishes (2 championships) in the last 5 years. definitely nothing to be sneezed at. IF they win this year that makes 3 champs in 4 years, plus the runner up from last year. Dynasty perhaps?
