Galen Rupp post-3:50 mile indoor tempo
Flotrack's Best of 2013 - Workout of the Year The workout itself was not what made us stare in awe..it was that we were witnessing a new perspective on training. The sheer pandemonium of the BU crowd, coupled with the raw speed of Rupp on a machine that honestly, we didn't think could move this fast, made this episode of WOW the run away winner for workout of the year. No rest for the weary. Galen went straight off the track and on to a treadmill. Flotrack followed Alberto, Dorian and Rupp for what has become a staple in the Projects training regimen. Galen Rupp BU Terrier Redux
Ruppmania is an epidemic. RJ McNichols remixes one of the all-time great runs by none other than the Olympic 10k silver medalist, Galen Rupp. There are some little added nuggets that we missed in the first go-around, but all we can do is sit back, enjoy the races, and ride the wave of some of most unbelievable indoor performances in American distance running history. Let's not forget who ran 3:55 at this meet last year. Even though David McCarthy admires Rupp's talent, they still have to run the race. A lot of talented guys are entered in the mile at BU and none of them will just hand it over to Rupp.

Rich Peters a bit cheeky heading into the BU Terrier Mile
Rich Peters had to watch the BU Terrier Mile from the sidelines last year. This weekend, he'll be right in the mix. BU's own is coming off his strongest winter block of training and could surprise himself in the mile. This would be a good shot to get a top 16 mark as the race is supposed to be fast. Peter's goal for the year? Low 3:50s.
