It wasn't like Jacob Hernandez woke up one morning and decided to call it quits. Sometimes runners become so enveloped in the sport that they don't really think about life outside of running. Always loved watching this guy compete, the 800, the relays.... remembering the 2008 NCAA 800 final and how I could have jumped thru my TV I was so happy he won. Was excited to see him race at OXY a few years back...Carry on, my friend, you will be awesome at whatever you set your sights on.
