The Jaw Dropping Moment of the Year in Flotrack's Best of 2012 goes to Courtney Okolo of Carrollton Newman Smith HS (May 11, 2012). Okolo had a historic day at the Texas UIL 4A State Championship this past May. She started off the day breaking the state record in the 400 running 52.40. The record was followed up with a 23.87 victory in the 200 meters, but she wasn't done there. In the final event of the day, the girl's 4x400 relay, Okolo got the stick 3 seconds behind a Lancaster squad that had already taken home two relay titles. With Okolo no where in sight, Lancaster looked to have the relay sweet on lock....but....

Im sorry if you paid for your whole, seat cause you only needed the edge of it........... like the camera should have brought the other 2 runners in view because it looked like she rejected the laws of physics!!

"Cheat code fast", that's an awesome term! I love the fact that FloTrack isn't the stuffy guys that THINK they're polished pros. I think the guy above must have had a kid in the race that they didn't get excited about.

So appreciate the coverage, and I can only imagine how difficult it is to produce. Hate to be critial, but the camerawork here totally misses the narrative of the race! What is going on with the cutaways? Atrocious!
