Hello everyone. Thank you so much for the e-mails and notes - I am doing much better but won't be 100% until the end of summer.

Congratulations to Allie Wood - OCC, District and Regional Champion in the pole vault. Her current new school record is 11' 9" - she will be vaulting at OSU Jesse Owens Stadium this Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 - hope to see all of you there to support Allie.

Also congratulations to Jamie Meegan for making the discus final at the Regionals. Jamie had a great year with us and I wish she could have been here longer. Congratulations also to Sarah Burkett and Chelsea Holland. Clelsea came in 5th place in the Region. Sarah placed 12th in the shot. While we do not have anyone going on to the State meet on the track, we were fortunate to have the 4x800m relay and the 4x200m relay compete in the Region.

Now to some nuts and bolts things - we need your uniforms - clean and on a hanger and with your name attached. We will have to withhold grade cards and transcripts until we have all the uniforms returned to us. I have requested more shorts for next year so that you do not have to buy them, but have been told that we need to cut another 20% of our budget. Keep your fingers crossed. Make sure that those of you who are not participating in a Fall sport get into the weightroom next Fall. Coach Beattie
