NEW NICKNAMES!!! after many thought provoking hours, two nicknames have been developed for current freshman....in honor of a park ranger fatefully met at camp a week ago, anthony bongard will now be referred to as "blu bong" (credit matt heiser)....also, due to the many similarities to J-Rad, greg vollmer has been dubbed "the deuce"....enjoy yourselves... |

camp I would just like to back up what mr. heiser said about camp. it is an awesome time. we camp, play multiple games, eat like kings, swim, run our mouths around the camp fire, oh and we also do a lot of running. but in all seriousness camp is a great experience. my freshmen year was great and i contribute that to camp. I already had a bunch of friends going into the school year, so all you freshmen who may be a little nervious about college, camp is a great way to meet people and make friends before you ever have to start school. anyway i hope to see everyone there and like always rock on. |

Bag-Pipping and Running Ok, so I have seen a lot of critters on my runs before but I have never in my life come across something as unusal as I did this past weekend; a bag-pipper! That's right, on my way into the trails in the old landfill, there was a man standing there playing his bag pipes. He stopped when he saw me, started to walk towards me and then he turned towards the sun and started to play some more hahah, I quietly passed him and he like turned and played at me as I went into the woods....wow....pretty crazy huh? :) |

Duathlon Congrats to Coach Rodney and Dr. Matt Vukovich on their team victory this past Saturday, Rod split 17:07 and 16:57 for his 3.3 mile legs. Matt biked his 20 miles in one hour 3 min and change. They beat the nearest team by roughly 5 minutes. |
