Liu Xiang prepping in America Liu Xiang, the defending Olympic champion, world recordholder and China's best hope for a gold medal in track, won't be race weary at the Beijing Games in August. His only 110-meter hurdles races in the 2½ months before the Games will be Saturday's Reebok Grand Prix in New York and the Prefontaine Classic June 8 in Eugene, Ore.
