USA Championship Races in Minnesota:

10 Mile Champs - Abdi wins in 46:35, with Josh Moen a close second!  Fam finishes 7th.

Women's Marathon Champs - 20 year old Ilsa Paulson wins in 2:31 while Colleen De Reuck finishes second (2:32) at age 45!

(note: Jason Hartman wins the men's Twin City Marathon by almost a full minute in 2:12!  Luke Watson finishes 7th in 2:15; Austin Baillie (Husband of Renee Metevier-Baillie) is 13th in 2:19.)

WEEKEND RESULTS - Upset Central (and it continued on Saturday!)

OSU Cowboy Jamboree - #2 OSU finishes fourth behind #5 NAU and #14 W&M (D2 Adams State finishes 3rd).  Texas Tech women hammer the field 36-107 with 4 in the top 5!  Surprises: Jordan Chipangama looks great for in his victory (23:44) and Kansas's Lauren Bonds finishes second in the women's race.

Wisconsin Invitation - #4 Wisco finishes 3rd at home behind Syracuse and Georgetown; The Hoyas' Bumbalough is back for his senior year and takes the Dub just over Iowa frosh Jeff Thode (top 4 only 2 secs apart).  Last year's Footlocker champ Solomon Haile finishes 17th.  Duke squeaks out a close one with Syracuse (78-80).  Angela Bizzari is back after a long summer and finishes 2nd behind NCAA 10k runner up Cecily Lemmon.  Surprises: Syracuse men and women.  There has been talk over the past couple years that these were going to be strong teams and now its coming to fruition.  Spreads between 1-7 pretty ridiculous for both, men with 42 secs and women at a crazy 28 secs!

Rocky Mountain Shoot - Colordo wins both men's and women's races (men score 16 points and women a perfect 15).  Jenny B with the surprise opener already and break Kara Goucher's course record as only the second women under 20 minutes.  Race | Interview

rooks Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh">Brooks Paul Short Run - Indiana men surprise Iona and NC State for the win, NC State's Ryan Hill wins as Ryan Sheridan fades to 11th.  #4 West Virginia women take down the field as D2 standout Neely Spence grabs the victory.  Surprises: Indiana's team victory; Spence still D2 (would be great to see her compete with the best in D1 every race)

Notre Dame Invite - Washington doubles up(!!) with the women DOMINATING going 1-2-3-4 for the win without Anita Campbell, Kendra Schaff (So) takes individual title.  The men squeak out a 6 point win and grab some great KOLAS points by beating Northeast fav Providence.  Surprises: Jacob Kirwa of New Mexico wins the men's title and FSU women finish 7th.

Bill Dellinger Invite - Alabama men go 1-2 for the W with Tyson David leading the charge.  Trevor Dunbar opens up finishing 9th in first race as a Pilot.  Villanova women upset home team Oregon and stomp the field with 22 points.  Nova's Sheila Reid wins while Jordan Hasay runs her first collegiate competition to finish 6th overall (2nd for Oregon).  Surprise: BYU men finish 2nd and beat Oregon (who ran a strong team), while Villanova women put 5 in the top 9!
