This young Oregon team thinks that they're the baddest team in the country when they can't even win a NCAA championship let alone send a team to the meet. Nice Dunbar and Stinson, way to represent your wonderful program.

I don't think this qualifies as stepping outside the bounds of "nerd/wimpy" looking...did you look at the picture? On the contrary I argue it affirms the stereotype.

A little class goes a long way.

Regardless of where they finish I think that acting this way is very egocentric. My favorite athletes are the ones who are soft spoken, mature, and show great sportsmanship.

Yes, but 7 months ago

Colorado won.

The Colorado guys did it too...

Question? 7 months ago

Has the Oregon men's cross country team declined so much, that they now consider 3rd and 4th a reason to celebrate?

Oh no! 7 months ago

I guess these two guys didn't realize that two other runners had crossed the finish line a minute or so
before them.

Let them race in style...if they had belittled someone it'd be different. I like that Cross Country runners are starting to be more outspoken and venturing outside of the wimpy nerd stereo type.

Apparently they do count because they appeared first and second in the results

Anonymous Coward 7 months ago

Yes, cause the 2 KENYANS in front of them really count...

Really? 7 months ago

If they were going 1, 2 this would be cool... but the finished 3, 4 and there team was 3rd by a lot... Come on Parker you are better than that.
