Webb has gone 8:11 in the two mile. He is indeed a very well rounded runner.

What do you think Webb was doing a few years back when he was running the 10k? He was building strength. Now he is working on speed. He has both and it just didnt come together for him. It's really easy to criticize someone while you just sit on your ass. The thing is Webb is one of the most well rounded runners out there. Just think of his times, 27:34 10k, 8:23 Two Mile, AR in the mile in 3:46, and a 1:43 800m.

Alan Webb should also try to compete in the 5000. 5000 competition helps 1500 performance.. (hicham and Bernard are good examples)
