Mark or Ryan - will there be any video coverage of the race itself on here? Oh how I want to see it.

did fam even realize that guy was behind him? looked like he was just jogging in that last mile, then woke up when that guy passed him. good recovery kick reflex. nice seeing brown up there. always a top notch guy in interviews.

Fam took it by a sec over a charging hard Tim Nelson. Nelson cam out of no where.

Watch out for the curb?? I say watch out for racking yourself on those concrete pylons!! So it is just the top 40 elite women that get to start in the front? Should be a good race. I say Cabada FTW.

Is Fam running this?

Kwik-E is a play on the words "quickie" i.e. someone who is fast, and the "Kwik-E-Mart", which is a fictional convenience store on the Simpsons, owned by Apu.

KWIK-E will someone tell me what this stands for?

KWIK-E what does it mean?
oh...great job mark

Ahhhh...my hometown. I love this race. My father is one of the "streakers," meaning that his streak is up to 31 years. He's one of about 45 people who have run every running of the River Run.
The Hart bridge is a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeatch, mainly because of where it is in the race. When Todd Williams set the american record, the bridge was actually 3 miles earlier in the race - the course had to be altered because of the stadium being built for the Jaguars. With the bridge that late in the race, no one has ever broken 43 min I think.

Hey, that sounds like Country Joe and the Fish. at Woodstock.....

Hey Mark, are you thinking about getting in the race too? Remember what fun it was in New York.....how about handing the camera over and showing us you can do that running bridge climb, just as though it were part of your daily workout.....We'll be watching for you....and good luck to all the competitors.
