As I clicked on submit, I thought of one other sportscaster that also enhanced the coverage by letting his personality and positive bias show through, and thus we got to know the athletes for real. Howard Cosell. Yes, I went to a throw a brick through the TV party in Denver, but he generated excitement for whatever sport he covered. I hope you guys have the same impact while keeping it positive! |

Unlike normal sportscastors who are afraid to inject ANY personality into the commentary for fear of making the story about them; you guys feed off of each other and the athletes and without making the story about you, actually enhance the story of the athletes beyond the normal platitudes. Don't listen to the naysayers and keep up the good work! |
