I am happy for those people that they were able to watch a live video of a sport and event they enjoy. My comments are meant to provide constructive feedback to those people who manage this site that the feed for the XC champs was not perfect. I have a decent laptop and a high speed DSL connection and do not have problems with other videos. Clearly other Flotrack users had issues as well. I am NOT complaining about the quality of the commentary, just the technology. I am a big fan of this site and the features they offer to those who enjoy the sport of running. |

There was nothing about today that was consistent. "How far they have come". You mean "How far they are going back". Where are the "WOW's". Those are the most popular videos this site has to offer. If they have so many other people, why don't them have them start filming some workouts. This coverage gets a F. Ninety percent of the people who watched today most likely agree. The others have very low expectations for this site. Then get out there with a camera and get to work. I think you fail to realize that everything you see is FREE. These guys are putting in a lot of hard work and traveling all around the country to bring us these coverages. Also, not every team wants to have their workouts videotaped or have the distraction of a camera crew at their practice. They simply can't just show up to someone's practice, unannouced, and procede to tape everything. Secondly, it is the middle of the indoor racing season so there are a lot of meets to cover and while they have more people I didn't say they had entire army that can be everywhere at once. |

The stream was dropped multiple times, once for a great length of time. A brief one happened while a winner crossed the line. Everyone who has used a cell phone or wifi knows they can be fickle, especially when you're driving around a course. Signal strength varies, equipment gets jostled, batteries die,... I was just glad for the free look. If Joel would rather read summaries or watch the videos, it's fine by me, oughta be fine by everyone else, too. |

First, Id rather have the internet go in and out, than have nothing! Second, of course your internet connection has to do with how good the feed comes in, but it cant be better than the feed being put out. Third, I really only had the feed "drop out" for the Men's Junior race and other than that it was all pretty good for me. Watching live internet feeds is not going to look like TV. Thousands of people were watching, it was those having problems that were gripping on the chat, everyone else wasnt going to join in and say "Im seeing things just fine!" A bunch of my teammates watched it from our various apts and thought it was alright (except for the first half of the mens juniors, really and maybe a small thing here or there. All in all it was solid, The camera was pretty stable and they went back to chase packs and stuff, thought it was cool. |

It had nothing to do with my internet feed. What are you guys talking about? It's great they tried, but EVERYONE had the coverage go in and out. EVERYONE. I'm glad they put up the videos. The problems were fixed and everything was fantastic. Question for you Sense. Did you watch the live races? Every single person in the chat had the same issues. |

Comparing this to the coverage of NCAAs is ridiculous. The budgets they are run on are a little different. And I watched NCs on TV, so of course it was clear, but what I saw was terrible! Im not going to get into how bad NCAAs was. Also, everyone is watching the same feed, but your internet connection determines how clearly the feed comes in! On top of that I was able to see everything just fine, way better than an updated blog! The only exception is the first half of the Junior Boys really, and that is wehn ryan said they were fixing the problem I believe. |

Simpson, your stream was not ok. Everyone was seeing the same thing. They were on the back of a cart. NCAA Championships were on the back of a cart, but you could see the whole race. Anyone who posts after this, you are not telling the truth if you say the stream was great. Mark knows it screwed up and once Ryan even posted on the chat they were trying to fix the problem. Why would he say that if everything was great? The guys on the site need to know how upset everyone was, so they will make sure next time it is done right. Simpson, stop lying. It's not nice and especially when you quote someone. |

I've been a fan of the site for quite a while but have to agree that the technical capabilities of the coverage were disappointing. I am happy that there was coverage, but if the connection or the video feed is not bomb-proof than I would rather read blog updates.r u kidding?!!!!! These guys were live from the back of a cart from USA XC! My stream was great and you are complaining. Blogs? What a joke. |

Next time just record the races and post them later. Streaming races live doesn't mean anything if it's poor quality. Saying "first time" doesn't make up for the poor quality. The idea is great. Next time try a practice run the day before so you don't make so many people upset. I hope you guys clean up the video of the races and post them sometime this week so we can enjoy watching them. I'm still a big fan of the site, but not having WOW for such a long time and then having this, it's really disheartening.Maybe it was your internet connection....it was fine for me for most of the races....boys juniors had some issues. |

They are now consistently providing us with LIVE coverage of USA championships and even have enough crew to do two live coverages in one day as well have other people doing coverages else where. I think it is amazing how far they have come in such a small timespan. Keep up the great work guys. |

I'm sure I speak for the entire population of Kodiak and a good percentage of xc fans everywhere when I say how disappointed we were at the blackout. |
