Flotrack is my drug of choice, and run junkie is like a jolt of speed! I love these guys and there unrepentant enthusiasm. This is an Olympic year and I have never been so excited or well informed about the sport and the athletes. These guys cover everything from high school to world class athletes and everyone gets to contribute and take part. This is democracy in action! This is about love of the sport, support for the athletes and respect for the fans! Rock on guys!!! |

Whoop Whoop: no one wants to see them sit behind a desk and read us the information we can find elsewhere on the internet. We watch Run Junkie because it is an entertaining and fun way to get information about track news from the week. This is what sets Flotrack apart from other track media sources, it's actually entertaining! |

These two are the driving force behind Flotrack and I believe they have earned the right to disseminate the information however they see fit, hand gestures and all. True we do have access to all of this information on the internet however I myself don't necessarily have time to flip through 20 different start lists and another 20 different results pages for past and upcoming meet info. If you have the time to sift through all that information how about you just do that and NOT WATCH Run Junkie since you claim to be getting the same information elsewhere. Then you can save the rest of us the headache of reading your ignorant whiny comments. Thanks a bunch! |

dear 'ignant fools'. no one is bringing down the sport on a comments section of a video. i read every article on flotrack and letsrun and run 80 miles a week. i'm an ambassador to the sport and always will be saying positive things about it. yes, i would rather have NO run junkie than the hands talking. this is a track website and everything they cover on run junkie is a summary of stuff we already know from the week. so, this is a social media world where everyone has access to the internet and web and video representation and flotrack has the opportunity to distinguish itself from amateur youtube videos etc and become better in every aspect they can. everyone loves the site and are thankful for the info they cover and that these guys have access to world-class athletes which they are sharing with us. but as they get more access and more quality levels of information/video/photos, it needs to be disseminated as best it can and nervous hand talking. so, you chill out and keep living a life of mediocrity and let people speak an opinion on a forum |

For all of you who come on here to just complain about their use of hands while communicating.....CHILL OUT were lucky that they take time to cover all of this information and have this website. People are always talking about our sport dying and it people like you who cant even appreciate the good things we have promoting running that are bringing down the sport too. Would you rather there just be no run junkie at all? If the hand motions annoy you dont watch the show and go cry about menial things to someone else |

can we chill out on the "hands comments"--I can't speak for Alex, but my dear son is of Italian decent and is just carrying out his heritage in full force! Be thankful he doesn't have his mom's Long Island accent--imagine that with the hands going!
