Chasing times and meaningless championships meets are on the horizon.

The fact that you guys didn't know who made it after that 10k just shows how ignorant flotrack announcers are. Did you seriously not check the qualifying rules before the trials. The rules were very clear and logical. And you guys wan't us to pay $20 a month to watch you announce stuff. This is just sad. |

I agree with Darren Peters. At these huge meets you obviously cannot take 10 guys that might hit the A standard. It is up to the countries to make it as fair as possible, without biased decisions. That is going to be hard, especially if big names are present in the race. I personally think that since it is not the Olympics (not saying Worlds arent a big deal), so maybe take the top 4 or 5 best times. Unless there is a championship race held to decide the team make up, there really is not an ideal way to decide. |

If this stays for the next few years, USATF could hold their national championship on July 29th in 2014 and 2015, so fans know who is going to world and international meets to represent USA. |
