I went out to Brooks HQ to check out how they run things. Jesse Williams of sports marketing showed me around the place, I met the designers and the interviewed the Jim Weber the CEO and I had a good time.

I've run in Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics, and Brooks, and I gotta say, Brooks is my favorite. I now only run their shoes as I've found some that fit my feet perfectly. Their gear is good too. |

The HQ folks are great, and they really DO get it. I am proud to know how much blood & sweat is shed over each Brooks shoe and every apparel piece, right down to the selection of the lace, and to the quality of the zipper. |

Video kindof makes me want to but a pair of Brooks. Their flats were cool, but too skinny for my feet. |

I'm an Asics guy but I always admired Brooks for the "Corre Mundo Corre" ad with the pamplona bulls was the best running ad ever. |

Does Brooks have athletes other then Hanson-Brooks? I think most people get in the shoe industry through being a shoe Rep...... and shoe reps basically go around to shoe stores and try to get their product on the wall. |

How do most people get in the shoe industry? I am guessing that you run in college and then go to a specialty running store or start as a shoe rep? is that the process? |
