In his first 800 in almost a full year, Wheating grabbed 2nd in 1:46.83. But more importantly, Wheating looks to be healthy and ready to sharpen up for the trials. Two races down now for Andrew and it looks like full steam ahead for another olympic run.

He said that only him and Andrew Brown train together. How many teams does OTC have? There's so many of them but they don't all train together. |

I liked the interview, he should flail his arms around wildly though! lol ;) |

I like this guy, nice and casual. It's just a quick post race interview. All that needs to be asked are basic questions about the race and training. It's not a freaking exposé. |

I love how the reporter isn't even paying attention to Andrew Wheating as he interviews him. Might want to work on those interview skills buddy. |

I think people are having a problem with him because of his body language more than anything, and if I'm being honest, it is a little off-putting. He doesn't look at people when he talks to them and creates sort of an awkward dynamic between himself and the athlete. |

I'm not sure why people have such a problem with this guy. He seems to ask the relevant questions, be knowledgable enough to hold his own, etc. |

get that interviewer out of there. respectfully, he doesn't have the skills required to interview athletes and tends to create awkward conversation as well as failing to ask insightful questions about the specific event of athletes race and/or progression in training. Flotrack, you have access to these superstars we all want to hear about and this guy is squandering the opportunity to extract good info. |
