Those shoes are rediculous, I can't imagine running so fast for so long with feet bleeding like that

Brian,
You were awesome! We are very proud of you and proud that you represented the USA.

Brian works for one of the Home Depots in my area. He is by far one of the most humble people I have ever met. I, like everybody @ Home Depot is extremely proud of him and representing the US in Beijing.

As far as the schedule request goes for the previous poster, no. We do not give schedules out over the phone.

They need to sell those Redneck Running shirts, I would buy one of those before I would ever buy a Black Cactus shirt, nothing against BC, just a huge Sell fan.

Yea, I'm coming out to Rochester in a week or so to meet Brian at work. Do you think Home Depot will give me his schedule over the phone?

Daniel 4 years ago

to Mike, Brian got 22th not 10th. 10th was Ryan Hall.
Here is the ranking:

Brian should be extremely proud for his accomplishment in Beijing. 10th is awesome. Most of the African runners who were ahead of Brian have been doing long distance running THEIR ENTIRE LIFE. They are marathon specialists. How many marathons has Brian done so far? So for him to have done what he has done should make everyone have their eyes wide open because it was a pretty amazing feat. He will only get better too.

Congratulations you ran a great race from a 10:0's 2 miler to 22nd in the world, jesus christ man! you ran well but you had some trouble, don't let that from flotrack try and convince you it was anything less.

Your performance in Beijing proves your one of the worldÂ’s top Marathoners and your personal story really reaches in to the hearts and minds of a lot of runners and future Olympian want-to-beÂ’s. Great Race and hope to see you run in London! PS I'll take the "bloody shoes" (no pun intended ) if I win the prize!

Great job Brian! I'm honored to win a pair of your bloody shoes! LOL!

And by the way, we're sporting the exact same staches right now. That's my typical look, the good ol blonde stache with a soul patch. Keep it up man!
