Jenny is so motivating! I definitely agree with whomever said she makes them want to go run a 20 miler. You're an inspiration, Jenny, and your love for what you do is infectious. Keep it up!

Jenny really is my favorite person to see interviewed right now, and she does NOT need to calm down! She's hilarious and cute and her enthusiasm and even hyperactive excitement is contagious. She's amazing on and off the track!

great race as always 4 years ago

"It's...it's an A-standard...right?" lol

i well would

As she was lapping the field the one runner moved outside and Jenny had to go around. She would have had an even better time if that hadn't happened.

Nice Jenny! Hopefully you can get some better competition. By the way, it's only a matter of time when you get sub-15. Good luck, Jenny!

Jenny, I really want to see you beat some of those international women. With the toughness you show, you're ready to compete with the best. Here's your real competitor: Gulnara Galkina - http://www.iaaf.org/athletes/biographies/country=RUS/athcode=193819/index.html

jenny, keep in mind that at UW indoors you had a lot of people to lap due to the shorter track, etc.. even though you weren't really competing with them, just having bodies in front of you can really help you push yourself. no wind to contend with either, as another poster said.

Mark_in_Oly 4 years ago

Her 15:01 indoors was at the UW - a 307 meter track - so it doesn't show on the record books.

Wibble 4 years ago

The reason it is a PR is it is a OUTDOOR time ........Not a Indoor 5k. Her PR indoor is a 15:01 5k but outdoor is different with wind and ect...condition so 15:07 is her outdoor PR and record.

Disappointed in your race? Go talk it out to Ryan! Works like a charm.

She ran 15:01 indoors. That would be her PR

over-analyzing!! anyone else think that?

Did your best on that day, in that race. Can't beat yourself up over it.

I don't understand... her PR is below 15:07, but that's the collegiate record? Under what circumstances did she PR where she wasn't "collegiate?"
