BATC Athletes work with high school athletes on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Campolindo High School, Moraga CA. Alysia Johnson, David Torrence, Magda Lewy-Boulet, Tom Kloos, Francis Gadayan, Mark Matusak, Brooke Wells, Alex Nelson and club president Tony Kauke presented sessions on strength, mobility, recovery, and speed dynamics.
High school athletes from Crystal Springs Uplands, Amador Valley, Miramonte, Alhambra, College Park and Campolindo were in attendance.

i remember when i first talked to crosby freeman about the bay area track club when the website was getting created. There seemed to be a lot of good ideas behind forming this club, but as you know, ideas are only ideas until they are acted upon. I have to say, the BATC has acted! They have brought together a great group of athletes, this winter they created an awesome XC event and with videos like these you see they have continued to involve their athletes in educating and interacting with their communities. They are creating more than just a group of runners and this is something other clubs should see and find value in. great work guys, its been exciting seeing this club grow and continue to reach more people! |
