Congratulations Lisa! It was so much fun to watch you run your race last night. I live in the Bay Area and drove on over with my two boys, ages 5 and 7 to see the distance carnival! It was such a fun night!! More people should bring their children to see the competition. I had a feeling you would break the record...the weather was perfect cool ,and no wind. Whenever I bring my boys there is an NCAA record broken at Stanford!!! They are in the background in a red jacket and a yellow & green striped shirt. Anyways, congrats you seem like such a nice, down to earth, approachable person. Best of luck in the future. We will be watching your career....

One the best interviews-"I have to go home and think about this"

I'm at home still thinking about this! That interview is a perfect example of what someone looks like when they just come out of 'The Zone". She definitely was in it all alone. Wow!!!!
