Teams / Germantown Academy

Germantown Academy is the oldest non-sectarian day school in the country. Founded in 1759, the school's first track team formed in 1877, followed eventually by cross country in 1965.

In more recent years, the program has earned attention locally, statewide and nationally. On the track, GA athletes have earned 14 state qualifications, 6 recognitions as All-State, and 8 recognitions as All-American. Meanwhile, the cross country team has won three consecutive state championships from 2002-2004.
